It doesn't take a miracle.  It just takes hard work... and the compassion of kind people like you.

Too often, people ask the question "Why is Africa so poor?"  Here at Bread and Water for Africa UK, we're interested in answering a different question: What can we do to make the future brighter? 

Bread and Water for Africa UK does provide emergency aid when it is needed most, but what distinguishes our organisation from other relief programmes is that our organisation supports local efforts in Africa that help develop self-sufficiency, provide orphan care and education and create development opportunities for Africans to better their lives and their communities.

Please take a few moments to read about the programmes that we support throughout Africa that are, daily, working to provide future generations with the opportunity to prosper and to give back- both to Africa and to the world.
